The science behind Companion Complex™

A formula built for the body on GLP-1s.

Companion Complex™ wasn’t adapted from a multivitamin. It was formulated by a clinician, ingredient by ingredient, around a single question: what does the body still need on the days you eat less? Every ingredient is clinically studied, every dose has a job, and the research behind each choice is published on this page.

The evidence

We show our work.

Every support pillar in Companion Complex™ is grounded in published, peer-reviewed research. We’ve collected it here, organized by pillar, so you can go as deep as you want. Most brands hope you won’t look this closely. We’re counting on it.

Sources & research notes

Grouped by support area. Opens PubMed, NIH, and NCBI references.
Hydration Electrolytes & fluid balanceSodium, potassium, magnesium and everyday hydration.
Digestion GOS + FOS prebiotic fibersPrebiotic fiber, the gut microbiota, and digestive regularity.
Muscle support Creatine & amino acidsMuscle-supporting nutrition alongside protein and resistance training.
Skin health Collagen peptides & vitamin CNormal collagen formation and skin-health support.
Energy metabolism B vitaminsSupport for normal energy metabolism. Solia contains no caffeine or stimulants.
Research context Amino acids & GLP-1 literatureMechanistic cell and animal research. Not a product or medication claim.

How to read this section. Sources are grouped by support area to show the reasoning behind each ingredient category. Reference fact sheets describe established nutrient roles. Items tagged as research context describe how certain amino acids — such as glycine, glutamine, and taurine — have been studied for their relationship to GLP-1 secretion in cell, animal, or human models. Solia does not claim to alter GLP-1 therapy, change medication outcomes, or produce the effects reported in these studies.

How to read the science

Why does Solia organize science by support area?

Because it mirrors how the routine actually works. Grouping sources under hydration, digestion, muscle support, skin health, energy metabolism, and a research-context section keeps each ingredient’s rationale clear and easy to check.

What does “clinically studied ingredients” mean here?

It means Solia uses familiar, researched ingredient categories — electrolytes, GOS + FOS prebiotic fibers, amino acids, creatine, collagen peptides, vitamins, and minerals. It does not mean the finished product has its own disease-outcome trials or that Solia is a medication.

Why 1.5 g of creatine instead of 3–5 g?

Because Solia uses companion dosing, not performance dosing. Companion Complex™ is designed to be taken every single day alongside a normal diet — not cycled, not loaded, not choked down. Every dose in the formula is set so the full stick stays light, clean, and easy to actually drink daily. One stick contributes 1.5 g of creatine monohydrate toward your daily intake, and the formula is designed so a second stick on training days brings you to 3 g. The dose you take every day will always beat the one you quit.

How should I read the research behind these ingredients?

As context, not as a product promise. The sources here describe what well-studied nutrients and ingredient categories do in the body — their established roles in hydration, digestion, muscle-supporting nutrition, skin health, and energy metabolism. They are studies of individual ingredients, not of the finished Solia product, and earlier or mechanistic research should be read as background on an ingredient rather than a claim about what Solia will do for you.

Where should I go deeper?

Start with the Supplement Facts page, then review the ingredient list, allergen information, and your own healthcare guidance — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, managing a medical condition, or have known food allergies.
